Furniture Design

A form discovered through raw material exploration, foam and sticks, until the right tension emerged built entirely by hand, failed and rebuilt into a table that makes you stop, question what you're looking at, and reach out.

Boxes of Brand Packaging

Context

Every table in the market felt like a variation of the same forgettable object. The question wasn't how to make a better table but whether a table even needed to look like one at all.

Approach

The process started not in a studio but in a bedroom. Books, rubber bands, toothpicks, a taco shell anything elevated became a candidate. Weeks of obsessive material studies with foam and sticks eventually gave way to the final form: three walnut boxes suspended on angled 35mm steel dowels, holding tension between gravity and defiance.

Outcome

People walked up to it like detectives. They circled it, crouched, pushed it certain it would fall. It never did. The table became a full-body conversation about how much we've accepted from the objects we live with.
